Sports Club Event Manager
A Padel Club is looking for an innovative Event Organizer to join our team and bring a dynamic approach to our event offerings. We are the the go-to venue for high-energy corporate team-building events, unforgettable padel tournaments, and exclusive private functions, complete with a 5-star dining experience.
Role Overview:
As the Event Organizer, you’ll take charge of planning, promoting, and executing corporate events and padel tournaments. You’ll design creative, engaging experiences that exceed expectations, while also fostering relationships with corporate sponsors and partners. This role requires someone with an outgoing personality and a strategic approach to attracting and managing sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Event Planning & Execution: Design, coordinate, and host corporate team-building events, private functions, and padel tournaments.
· Corporate Outreach: Actively reach out to businesses, sponsors, and potential partners to secure corporate collaborations and sponsorships.
· Sponsorship Development: Build and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors; create custom event packages that align with sponsors’ goals and our club’s values.
· On-Site Management: Oversee day-of logistics, ensuring events run smoothly, guests are engaged, and all details are handled.
· Marketing & Promotion: Work with our marketing team to promote events across channels, maximizing reach and engagement.
Requirements:
· Event Management Experience: At least 2+ years in event coordination, preferably in sports clubs, team-building environments, or hospitality settings.
· Corporate Networking Skills: Proven ability to secure sponsorships and forge corporate partnerships.
· People-Oriented Personality: Exceptional communication skills and a knack for connecting with a diverse range of clients and sponsors.
· Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously, keeping every detail on track.
· Knowledge of Padel (Bonus): Familiarity with padel or a background in sports/event hospitality is a plus.
· Must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as most events are early morning, evenings or weekends.
· A pro active mindset to coming up with new ideas for padel events and finding new customers is imperative.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
