Spa Manager - 5* Lodge - Greater Kruger

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Spa Manager to lead and manage a luxury spa, ensuring a world-class standard and exceptional guest experience. This role requires a proactive leader with a minimum of 5 years of experience in running a high-end spa and a proven track record of successfully leading a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Operations:

Oversee all spa treatments, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard.
Address guest feedback promptly and escalate any complaints to the Head of Lodge Operations.
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and inviting spa environment.
Manage the café area, ensuring it is well stocked and maintained.
Handle day-to-day financial responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
Schedule team members and manage time off and annual leave.
Provide ad hoc treatments as needed.

Monthly Requirements:

Complete month-end tasks and stock takes.
Consolidate reports for management.

Team Development:

Build and nurture a strong spa team.
Promote continuous development of products and services.
Mentor and guide junior spa therapists and interns.

Additional Responsibilities:

Conduct site visits to ensure quality standards.
Source sustainable suppliers and build strong relationships for optimal costing.
Host guests as scheduled.

Qualifications:

Somatology qualification or similar.
At least 4 years as a Senior Spa Therapist and 3 years in a high-end facility.
Proven experience in successfully leading a team.
Preferably a qualified Yoga and/or Pilates instructor.
Excellent command of the English language and computer literacy.
Valid driver’s license.
