A Spa Manager is a skilled professional who esures the efficient managing and operation of the Spa in accordance with
company standard’s
KEY RESPONSIBILITITY AREAS:
Staffing and scheduling of staff and allocation of duties to ensure the maximisation of staff productivity and minimise payroll costs.
Create a work environment that is high in employee morale and provides constant learning & development and use the feedback from Employee
Satisfaction Surveys to draw an action plan.
Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Recruitment and Performance Appraisal & Management of staff in the department to ensure maximum productivity
Ensure that operational standards and procedures of the department are met.
Develop, update and implement the Spa Standard Operating Procedure manuals.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric
2 Year minimum Beauty Diploma, preferably CIDESCO, SAAHSP and/or ITEC
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a reputable Spa
Flexible and available to work shifts.
Strong upselling skills
Hands-on Problem-Solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Customer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills
Friendly, courteous and service-orientated
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
Effective communication with members of staff as well as Guests of the Hotel
