Job Title: Social Media Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Social Media Assistant to manage the digital presence of our two restaurants and culinary studio. This is a freelance and remote position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will manage multiple social media platforms, create engaging newsletters, edit content, and develop creative strategies to keep our brand vibrant and connected with the audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, and Twitter.
- Create, schedule, and publish content using Meta Business Suite and other social media management tools.
- Create and edit content (photos, videos, graphics) for posts and newsletters.
- Design newsletters to engage with subscribers and build brand awareness.
- Monitor social media interactions, respond to messages, and engage with the online community.
- Stay updated with social media trends to ensure our content is relevant and up to date.
- Work under pressure and quickly adapt to the fast-paced nature of the hospitality industry.
- Collaborate with management to ensure the online presence aligns with our brand vision.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency with Canva for basic graphic design.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite or similar scheduling tools.
- Strong writing skills for captions, posts, and newsletters.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work (applications without portfolios will not be considered).
Preferred Skills:
- Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is a bonus).
- Ability to quickly adapt to trends and produce content that reflects brand identity.
- Familiarity with the food and beverage industry is a plus.
