Job Advert Summary

Responsible for the maintenance of water and sewer water network, leaks repairs, Inspections and testing of plumbing equipment to meet the specified standards. Reporting problems to the Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 3 and Trade Test Certificate in plumbing
• 3 year working experience in a similar environment
• Knowledge of the welding and plumbing field
• Ability to do minor repairs
• Knowledge of OSHA and safe working procedures
• Physically and Medical fit.

Primary Duties

• Assist in maintenance, fabrication, and repairs of pipeline components.
• General maintenance and loading and unloading of equipment.
• Cleaning of tools and equipment
• Assist on the daily routine plumbing maintenance.
• Cleaning of the Pump blockages as and when required.
• Record and Report all the fault Equipment

Knowledge

• General maintenance

• Basic understanding of valves, pressure and flow principles
• Safety working procedures

• Ability to conduct water and sewer repairs
