Reservationist - Beautiful Game Lodge - Grahamstown
Kendrick Recruitment is looking for a capable and well-presented Reservationist for a beautiful game lodge in the Port Elizabeth area. The ideal candidate is well spoken and well versed with the different kinds of reservations platforms. This 5* establishment is a place where guests can exist in harmony with nature at one of the best Eastern Cape Game Reserves.

Requirements:
- Qualification: Degree or equivalent from Reputable Hotel School
- 3 years’ experience in a similar position at a 5-Star luxury property.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to the website, email, and telephonic inquiries accurately.
- Handle guest inquiries while establishing rapport with guests during the booking process.
- Maintain effective customer relationships and actively resolve guest complaints, where possible; exercise judgment when escalating it to the Reservations Manager.
- Ensure accurate detailed capturing of reservations.
- Maintain client database to ensure all guest information are complete.
- Assist with maintaining an efficient administration system.
- Maximise sales and upselling of other revenue streams.
- Develop in-depth product knowledge of all lodges, activities, and USPs.
Skills:
- Excellent command of the English language (Spoken and written).
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of telephone etiquette.
- Computer experience: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Opera PMS.
- Experience in telesales.
- High degree of confidentiality and integrity.
- Ability to work in a challenging and demanding environment.
- Well organised team player, capable of working independently, meticulously, and with initiative.
