Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturing company in the plastics
industry, is on the hunt for a Product Demonstrator. If you are technically minded and skilled in such a similar environment, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Assist customers on hand-wrap applications as to optimising on the specified equipment
Visit customers and report findings to Sale Director
Assist Agents / Distributors in securing new customers
Focus on trouble shooting and problem resolution ensuring continuous improvements
Attend to administration (faxing, filing, photocopying, spreadsheets)
Recordkeeping
Conduct induction training for all staff
Maintain and update training matrices and records
Coordinate and schedule training sessions weekly
Assess learner progress and update records
Ensure that training solutions are proactive and support the internal training needs
Schedule training sessions in alignment with the company’s Training Plan
Confirm participant attendance for training sessions
Maintain training registers
Prepare agendas and meeting materials
Education / Requirements:
Matric
Certificate / Diploma will be adv.
Experience with Spar, Checkers, Pick ‘n Pay, Shoprite (Deli Department) will be highly adv,
Computer Literate MS Office (Word, Excel (Spreadsheets), Outlook) & Pastel
Must have a code 08 driver’s license to travel as needed
Skills:
Excellent command of both English and Afrikaans, both written and spoken.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to perform well under pressure
Outstanding grooming and presentation
Impeccable discretion and diplomacy
Excellent public relations skills
Proficient in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
Strong administrative skills
Excellent telephonic communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management skills
