Requirements

• Grade 8 and be able to read and write
• Good verbal communication
• No criminal record
• Medically Fit

Key Performance Areas

• Stopping traffic to ensure that pedestrians can cross safely
• Assisting physically challenged or any other persons in need of

additional assistance to cross the road safely.

• Keeping accurate record of incidences and start and end times.
• Activating pedestrian signals when and where applicable
