Responsible for the delivery of the Investor Services Africa Regions (AR) execution for operational processing for HUB and centralised product offering as well as lead and develop the Investor Services Operations team across Rest of Africa (Ro A) to ensure efficient and profit driven operations managed in strict compliance with the various Regulation, Legislation, local laws and jurisdictions and Group Risk Standards. Ensure effective and efficient operational service delivery with a prime focus of managing client’s service in a differentiated manner whilst managing operational risk in the environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business Administration
Master’s degree would be advantageous
Experience Required
5-8 years’ experience in the securities industry/ Custody experience.
Minimum 6 years in securities industry – Corporate Actions, Settlement, Valuation Reporting and Asset Reconciliation.
Working knowledge of rules and regulations governing settlement of Custody transactions.
Experience running an end-to-end Operational function in the African Region / Internationally within investor Services/ Asset Management including financial management, client, people, technology and interacting with the Regulator as the Market Leader in Industry.
Knowledge of the Investor Services, Product set including settlements, corporate and service solutions and offerings, including global FX management, asset management in Africa.
Exposure/experience in global capital markets or capital markets in the rest of Africa
Proficiency in SWIFT messages type 500 series
