Housekeeping Manager - Niche Luxury Boutique Hotel Franschhoek - No Accommodation
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years experience in a house keeping manager role within a small LUXURY hospitality environment
- Clear Criminal Record
- Clear Credit ITC Record
- Proven refrences
- Hotel Management Diploma and/or equivalent qualification will be anadvantage
- Manage & supervise housekeeping staff
- Ensures inter-departmental co-operation, working collaboratively with other departmental heads to ensure maximum effectiveness and output for all partments occurs.
- Makes daily checks on rooms and other facilities to ensure the standards have been met, and daily operational timings adhered to.
- Keeping records and performs stocktaking exercises
- Manage all receiving, storing and control of all Housekeeping supplies, equipment, linen and uniforms
- Maintains an excellent and courteous relationship with guests
- Performs additional management duties within the hotel environment.
- Reports any maintenance defects to the Maintenance Department timeously
- Performs whatever additional duties that Senior management deems fit
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment
- Willingness to work flexible time
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent co-ordination and organisational skills
- Presentable, well-spoken individual
