Hotel Night Manager - Cape Town - SA Citizens
Cape Town based hotel in the Waterfront area is requiring a nexperienced Night Manager to oversee the hotel’s operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and excellent problem-solving skills.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- SA Citizens
- Minimum 3 years Hotel Night Manager experience
- Clear Criminal & Credit ITC Records
- Matric Grade 12
- Hospitality Diploma beneficial
- Sound Excel & Word skills, minimum 5 years experience
- Sound GDS and GGS systems knowledge preferred.
- Own transport & valid SA Driver's License
- Complete Front Office experience
- Overseeing all hotel operations during the night shift
- Managing guest check-ins and check-outs
- Checking of outstanding guest accounts and high balances, pit checks, rate checks, online bookings
- Handling guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly, crisis management, managing any emergencies or unforeseen situations that arise during the night
- Ensuring security protocols are followed and addressing any security concerns
- Coordinating with other departments to maintain high service standards
- Conducting nightly audits and preparing reports for management and excellence in cash handling is key
- Supervising night staff and ensuring smooth handover to day shift
