The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining effective health & safety as well as environmental policies, procedures and programs across the Agri Division. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, conducting risk assessments, providing training, investigating incidents and maintaining environmental policies and best practice. The role also involves creating a standardized health & safety and environmental compliance framework within Supreme Agri to align with practices and policies.

Lead and mentor a team of HSE officers across multiple regions.
Develop and maintain compliance frameworks to align with the latest regulations.
Conduct risk assessments, deliver training, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure alignment with all relevant safety, health, and environmental standards, including ISO and OHSA.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or equivalent.
7-10 years of HSE experience, including 5 years in a management role.
Experience in the poultry industry, with knowledge of biosecurity and animal welfare would be highly beneficial
Minimum Certifications: SAMTRAC, NOSA, HIRA, ISO.
Competencies:
Strong leadership, excellent communication, and training skills.
Ability to analyze data, engage stakeholders, and manage compliance.
Expertise in legal liability and auditing processes.

Developing safety plans, policies and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Mentoring, training and supporting HSE officers to maintain high safety standards.
