Head Trainer - Field Guide Training Facility - Limpopo
Kendrick Recruitment are currently seeking a Head Trainer that will be responsible for executing the training activities for a Field Guiding Facility in the Greater Kruger area.

Key Focus Areas
- Ensure the efficient structuring of the modules to be covered in the course.
- Update lectures/training material on a regular basis.
- Conduct learning according to the highest (FGASA) standards.
- Facilitate activities in the field via Game Drives, Walks, Trails and Field Observations
- Facilitate lectures, workshops, training sessions and team building.
- Be approachable.
- Offer guidance and support to students.
- Adhere to CATHSSETA requirements for training providers.
- Assist where needed with general maintenance.
- In liaison with Camp Management, ensure that regular vehicle services are scheduled and effected.
- Ensure that the vehicles are being driven sensibly and with care, by students and staff.
- Keep rifles stored and maintained according to safety rules and regulations.
- Prepare students according to the expectations of the placement Property to ensure they are an asset to their teams.
- Ensure that the students exiting the college have the highest calibre of knowledge and skills.
- Create a safe, happy, and fun learning and living environment for students and staff.
Requirements - Qualifications and Skills
- Min. 5 years’ experience in the bush, working as a Field Guide (essential), experience as Senior Guide or Head Guide(advantageous)
- Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
- FGASA Professional Trails Guide (essential)
- Qualified Facilitator/FGASA Assessor (essential)
- Range Officer (essential)
- Prior experience in training and facilitation (essential)
- MS Office Suite
