We own and manage 19 (and growing) franchises in the food industry.
We are looking for someone to join our accounts team and grow with us as our company grows. Experience is key in this position as we work with tight deadlines and need to be able to keep up the current pace. As our company opens new stores the candidate will be able to take on more based on their skill set and experience.
Areas of responsibility and accountability
Monthly management accounts
Processing of journals
Bookkeeping up to balance sheet
Processing monthly accruals
Performing general ledger account reconciliations
Rental reconciliations
Expense allocation
Obtaining daily figures from stores
Capturing/importing bank statements
Importing of weekly DTM files – obtained from the various stores
Distribution of proof of payments to suppliers
Completion of credit application forms
Monthly submission of figures to head office
Handling of admin queries
Processing of invoices
Liaising with respective stores
Assistance during the interim and annual audit process
VAT reporting to the accounting office for submission
May be required to perform additional ad hoc duties, as required within the company
