5* Game Lodge in the Pilanesberg is looking for a F&B Supervisor to ensure the efficient and profitable running of the restaurant and bar outlets by careful planning, controlling and coordinating of relevant facets of the units. Responsibilities:
Handling & resolving of customer complaints.
Scheduling and handling inventory.
Delegate tasks to employees and ensure they are carried out accordingly.
Ensure that induction of new employees is conducted.
Effective merchandising and managing of deliveries.
Ensure good team delivery of customer service.
Meeting operational expectations and maintain high quality standards.
Using commercial skills to reach desired sales records and handling of the budget.
To ensure maximum security in all areas under your control.
To liaise with customers regarding special functions.
To ensure that tables are impeccable and that tables are set correctly.
To ensure that faults and defects are reported to Maintenance and actioned without delay.
To investigate and action the causes of staff grievances.
To be aware of all statutory regulations affecting safety and ensure that any safety hazard is rectified.
To ensure that all stocks and supplies are timeously requested, correct stock levels maintained and stored under optimum conditions.
To ensure regular stocktaking of all operating equipment at specified intervals.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
5+ years management experience in a restaurant environment
Understanding of Profit and Loss
Must have a strong focus on increasing sales
Knowledge of restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
