Purpose: To lead and drive forward excellence in Digital Media Activation for the client, delivering continued improvement in excellence of digital activation for search, social and programmatic/display campaigns, including digital ad operations and related operational activities like, automation and financial reconciliation.

Operations & Leadership
- Run & lead the Digital Operations Hub to effectively service the client and meet their digital objectives.
- Oversee all the specialists in digital activation who are responsible for the activation of thousands of searches, social and programmatic/display campaigns every month.
- Lead the digital services offering i.e., harmonization of delivery requirements and role expectations across all specialist activation delivery teams.
- Manage stakeholders to align on needs and meet demands of our clients in digital activation.
- Collaborate with other Leads to understand needs and anticipate areas for improvement.
- Implement strategic change and deliver operational excellence with process orientation.
- Work with the People and Learning teams to grow skills and capabilities of the team through custom developed training and certification programmes.
Processes & Automation
- Define the optimal process to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy in all digital delivery.
- Drive quality and efficiency through, but not limited to, automation, specialist training and certification programmes.
- Ensure that processes standards and continuous enhancements are adhered too.
- Define and deploy tech, data and automation solutions.
- Standardise and professionalise onboarding programs to reduce time to value and impact of new team members.
Performance
- Drive a high-performance culture in campaign delivery and reporting, leveraging existing talent and recruitment of specialists, ensuring training, certification and career development skills are developed to support individual’s growth plans.
- Monitor campaigns and reporting service delivery with senior leaders, assessing process and structural improvements, leveraging technology to automation, whilst being responsible for ensuring that the teams have resources and management support.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and analysis to constantly drive incremental performance gains.
- Troubleshoot and pro-actively manage business challenges.
The Ideal Candidate
- Highly knowledgeable and experienced in digital media agency operations with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proven capability in managing large and diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver ‘service excellence’ to customers.
- Experienced in the operations of digital media with a deep understanding of the processes required through the digital campaign lifecycle.
- Successfully motivated and lead cross functional teams.
- Proven track record in establishing high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
- Comfortable with handling (up to) C-level clients and agency management, as well as colleagues at all levels
- Inspiring communicator with clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and numeracy abilities required.
