Creditors Clerk position available in Bedfordview.

Our client, a multinational company, is looking for an experienced person to join their accounts department and perform the full function of foreign creditors.

Requirements:

Grade 12 / equivalent
5 or more years proven experience as a creditors clerk or similar role, with a focus on forex transactions.
Strong understanding of forex markets, currency exchange, and related regulations.
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
Have reliable transport.
Proficiency in accounting software (MS Excel and Syspro)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute foreign exchange transactions efficiently and accurately.
Prepare payments.
Deal with queries.
Monitor currency exchange rates and trends to optimize transaction timing.
Reconcile forex transactions with invoices and payments.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with forex regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of forex market developments and regulatory changes.
Assist in the preparation of forex-related reports and documentation.
Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to forex transactions.
