We are expanding our operations and are looking for a skilled Airconditioning Technician to join our team and support the growing demand for HVAC services.
Role Overview:
As an Airconditioning Technician at Hera Group, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various types of HVAC equipment and will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and meet the highest standards of performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including split systems, ducted systems, and HVAC units.
Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems are operating efficiently.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning systems.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while performing tasks.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to determine specific air conditioning needs and recommend solutions.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and repair logs.
Order parts and equipment as necessary to complete installations or repairs.
Provide technical advice to clients and team members on proper use and maintenance of air conditioning systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Relevant certification or diploma in Air Conditioning, HVAC, or Refrigeration.
Proven experience as an Airconditioning Technician or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and electrical components.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer instructions.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Good communication and customer service skills.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and practices in African markets is a plus.
