Actuarial Executive Nairobi Kenya
This position is based Nairobi Kenya
Primary responsibility will be to assist in running various actuarial projects for the Life team.
Assisting senior managers, where necessary
Reserving / statutory valuations / SAM Pillar I
Product pricing and design
Capital modelling & Asset Liability Modelling
Supporting the Head of Actuarial Function
Reinsurance reviews
Drafting reports and communications
Supporting the consulting actuary
Performing market studies and research
Embedded Value Reporting
Analysis of Surplus / Ao EV
ORSA (Own Risk & Solvency Assessment)
FCRs (Financial Condition Reports)
IFRS 17 Implementation
Adhering to professional standards & ethical practices
Training and mentoring junior staff
Managing clients and assignments
Completing tenders and proposals
Degree in Actuarial Science
Min 7+ years of working experience in Life or a similar environment.
Advanced skills in Excel
Knowledge of Actuarial Software
ASSA/TASK/IFo A Fellowship and management experience is advantageous
