Oceans is seeking highly ambitious candidates in Cape Town, South Africa to become what we're calling the Right Hand to the Founder, a new hybrid role combining all the administrative and customer centric prowess of a highly polished Account Manager with the ruthless efficiency of a Junior Chief of Staff. If accepted into our program, Oceans will provide best-in-class training on necessary processes and platforms alongside full cultural immersion — so you can become the most effective operator you can be. You will then be paired with a powerhouse leader and embedded within their team, positioned to become their right hand over time.

Oceans' Right Hands are not only responsible for handling administrative duties like scheduling, filing, and research, they’re also equipped to flex their operational muscles by suggesting improvements, setting KPIs, assisting with strategy, gatekeeping their CXOs time, and tracking projects, tasks, and timelines from conception through completion.
You will be working at Overeasy, a stealth mode branding agency with founders Andrew Deitchman (Co-Founder and former CEO of Mother New York) and Heather-Mariah Dixon (Founder of HMVD Studio).
Responsibilities
Operational:
- Lead and manage the implementation of projects across the organization
- Monitor project statuses and update through easy to understand visualization
- Track project progress using tools such as Monday.com, Trello, Asana, or Click Up
- Draft company policies, standard operating procedures, and correspondence
- Handle the management and flow of information, ensuring the right info gets to your CXO at the right time
- Organize events from end to end which includes budgeting, vendor coordination, providing input on designs, and executing social media strategies
- Update presentations in Figma
Administrative:
- Manage complex calendars by coordinating with parties across multiple time zones and prioritize meetings according to business needs
- Conduct daily sync-up keeping up with with Agile scrum practices
- Set the agenda for meetings, summarize discussion points, and key follow ups
- Maintain awareness of deadlines and hold team members accountable across the organization
- Handle basic financial tasks such as expense tracking, invoicing, budgeting, & reimbursement
Requirements:
- Language: Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
- Experience: 3+ years working experience as Business Analyst, Traffic Manager, or Project Manager.
- Education: Undergraduate degree preferred; related work experience accepted
- Bonus: MBA, PMP Certified or other professional certifications strongly favored, but not required
