Manager / Events and Exhibition (Contract)
[What the role is]
As the Manager/Events & Exhibitions, your responsibilities will include venue management, event planning and coordination in the Singapore Botanic Gardens (SBG).
Only shortlisted candidates are notified. Successful candidate will be offered a 9-month employment contract.
As the Manager/Events & Exhibitions, your responsibilities will include venue management, event planning and coordination in the Singapore Botanic Gardens (SBG).
[What you will be working on]
1. Venue Management
1. Venue Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of SBG’s event venues
- Liaise with and supervise the appointed managing agent
- Handle public enquiries and coordinate site recces
- Prepare fact sheets and reports
2. Logistics & Maintenance
- Ensure equipment and facilities at the venues are kept up to date
- Coordinate resource deployment across the managed venues in various gardens and parks
3. Event Management
- Work closely with partners and stakeholders to plan and coordinate events at SBG
[What we are looking for]
- Relevant experience in managing events, venues and vendors/managing agents/contractors.
- Good written and communication skills
- Able to work on staggered working hours, weekends and after office hours, when required.
- Creative, resourceful and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Able to multi-task and prioritise accordingly.
