[What the role is]
The Change Manager plays a critical role in the successful implementation and adoption of change initiatives in Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP). The primary responsibility is to manage the people's side of change, ensuring that employees are prepared, engaged, and supported throughout the transition process. He/she will work and engage with various stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to build support for change initiatives and facilitate a smooth transition to a sustainable state.
[What you will be working on]
Develop and implement change management strategies and plans for transformation initiatives and projects, aligning w ith NYP strategic goals.
Conduct impact analysis, identify potential risks and assess change readiness, and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
Create and deliver change management communications, including newsletters, emails, and presentations, to inform and engage staff at all levels of the organisation.
Develop training programmes and facilitate ongoing support for change adoption.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure that change management activities are integrated into project plans and timelines.
Provide coaching and support to reporting officers to help them lead their teams through the change process.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Foster a positive and supportive change culture within the organization, promoting the benefits and value of transformation initiatives to staff .
Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends in change management and apply them to enhance NYP’s change management approach .
[What we are looking for]
Tertiary qualification, preferably in change management-related or organisational development-related fields.
Proven experience in change management, preferably with a diverse portfolio covering culture, process and technology-related implementations.
Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential barriers to change.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience in project management and knowledge of project management methodologies will be an added advantage.
Relevant change management certifications (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of evolving technologies and their impacts to organizations and work will be an added advantage.
