Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (RIE & Projects) – Sch of Health & Social Sciences
[What the role is]
Your key role will be in conducting lectures, tutorials, project collaboration and supervision pertaining to Research, Statistics, Evidence-Based Practice, I&E and Projects for Pre-Employment Training (PET) or Continuing Education and Training (CET).
[What you will be working on]
Conduct lectures, tutorials, lab sessions, project supervision pertaining to Research, Statistics, Evidence-Based Practice, I&E and Projects for Pre-Employment Training (PET) or Continuing Education and Training (CET) learners.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on projects.
Conceptualise, prepare and submit viable research and/or project proposals .
Lead a team of colleagues and/or learners to fulfil the required project deliverables for projects.
Organise programmes, events and/or activities to support and develop life skills, I&E/project mindset & skillset in learners.
Perform mentoring duties to assigned group of learners.
Participate in committees/workgroups within NYP or with external stakeholders as assigned.
[What we are looking for]
Relevant training, qualification and experience in research, statistics, evidence-based practice, innovation, creativity and/or design thinking.
Proficient in IT applications for administration, teaching & learning, research & statistics and/or project management.
Possess working experience in conceptualizing and submitting research/project proposals and delivering funded industry/research projects.
Analytical and meticulous individual who can think strategically and align with NYP and the national agenda.
People-oriented individual who possesses strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Good at thinking from a human-centric perspective; working in cross-functional teams; strength in resourcing, critical thinking, sense making; taking initiative; being tenacious and persevering in ambiguous complex situations; able to organize and manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
Experience working in health and social care settings, educational settings, people development / design thinking/ strategic thinking/ systems thinking; would be an advantage
