Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of innovation in real estate development, focusing on creating an extraordinary entertainment and leisure hub in Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Utilities Director to lead our utility management efforts.
Responsibilities
Manage complex and competing demands to ensure timely delivery of Utilities to district or City needs, coordinate with City on Utility demands and planning & phasing of Utilities network.
Lead the development and commercial management, including project wide third party agreements, using a variety of contract types to facilitate successful project delivery whilst managing project budgets and financials.
Undertake project governance forums, to address issues, review status and manage key actions, work with the relevant support teams to implement robust change management and communications plans.
Evaluate the performance of program in terms of cost, time and quality whilst reporting on project performance.
Identify, manage and mitigate the delivery risk exposure to the business by ensuring adequate controls are identified and applied to Utility operations and planning.
Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to integrate utility planning into overall project development.
Monitor and manage the performance of utility systems, identifying opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
Stay updated on best practices and advancements in utility technology and processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or Facilities Management.
Minimum of 15 years of experience as a Utilities Project Director, or Senior Project Manager in managing Utilities (Planning, Implementation and Operations).
Experience in management of operation of Utilities for 10+ years, for City, Development or other.
In-depth knowledge of water, electricity, sewage, and telecommunications systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
Proficient in utility management systems and software.
Experience in the Middle East region is highly desirable.
Professional certifications related to utilities or project management are a plus.
