Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical Infrastructure BIM Draftsman to join our team! In this role you will get to work as a BIM Modeller for Power (HV/MV/LV), Street Lighting, and Telecommunication Networks .

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain electrical infrastructure BIM models using Civil 3D software.
  
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and efficient project completion.
  
• Create accurate and detailed construction documentation for electrical systems.
  
• Perform clash detection analysis and provide solutions to mitigate conflicts.
  
• Review and coordinate design changes with Engineers and the Technical Manager.
  
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, as well as local and national codes and regulations.
  
• Participate in design meetings and provide technical expertise as needed.
  
• Research and implement new technologies and techniques to improve project efficiency and quality.
  
• Prepare and present project progress reports to Design Manager.
  

EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  
• 5 years work experience in the electrical field and 3 years of experience in electrical infrastructure BIM modelling are required.
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Proficiency in Auto CAD and Civil 3D software is required.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important. The candidate will be working closely with other members of the team, as well as clients and other stakeholders, so the ability to communicate effectively is critical.
  
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
