This position involves a secondment with our client in Saudi Arabia.
Assist the head of business communication in coordinating sector and region activities.
Contribute to shaping and executing the organization's business communications strategy, objectives, and goals.
Develop and execute operational and tactical communication plans.
Collaborate with various sectors, regions, and subsidiaries to comprehend their priorities, offer communication solutions, provide best practice advice, and ensure alignment across the organization.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, to implement communication activities supporting the organization's business objectives.
Craft, edit, and generate content for diverse communication channels, such as talking points, panel session flows, video scripts, Q&As, press releases, and executive speeches.
Proactively manage media relations and address risk and issues, including providing counsel and taking action on media-related matters.
Brief, coach, and enhance the communication skills of senior spokespeople for effective internal, external, and media interactions.
Oversee communication agency resources to ensure the execution and implementation of approved strategies and plans.
Continuously explore innovative communication channels and practices to enhance the communication plan.
Demonstrate proficiency in proofreading with an excellent attention to detail.
Supervise communication projects to ensure all content is publication-ready.
Address communication-related issues promptly and manage multiple tasks, events, and activities.
Deliver presentations to support the planning of communication initiatives.
Develop coordinated schedules and plans for communication initiatives.
Translate ideas into effective briefs for the internal creative team and external partners.
Foster a high-performance culture by identifying recommendations for maintaining delivery standards, setting a strong behavioral example, and coaching junior team members and aspiring leaders.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Essential experience in professional communications.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse, and multicultural setting.
Awareness of cultural intricacies pertinent to the organization’s activities.
At least 10 years of experience in managing complex communications within large, international organizations or handling multiple client accounts at leading communication agencies.
Preferably holds a degree in marketing/communications, business administration with an emphasis on marketing/communication sciences, or public relations.
