Job Title: Operations Manager – 5-Star Hotel Location: Makkah
(only candidates living in Saudi Arabia are considered) Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a prestigious 5-star hotel. The successful candidate will ensure that all departments function smoothly and deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining profitability and operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage and inspire teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Guest Services.- Ensure the highest standards of service are maintained, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure all operational areas run smoothly, providing guidance and support where needed.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
- Lead efforts to optimize financial performance by managing costs, ensuring proper resource allocation, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Implement and maintain hotel policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistent quality across all functions.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and accountability, promoting staff development through ongoing training and performance management.
- Manage guest complaints and feedback, ensuring swift resolution and using insights to improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and senior leadership team on strategic initiatives, budget planning, and long-term operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as local laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple departments simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A results-driven approach with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and other relevant tools.
