Operations and Maintenance Manager (With Previous experience in UK or Europe)

Job Summary: The Operations and Maintenance Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of our facilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role is responsible for managing a team of maintenance personnel, coordinating with external vendors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing best practices in facility management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of facilities, ensuring all systems and equipment are functioning optimally.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and manage facility budgets, including procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Maintenance Management:
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all facilities.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to resolve facility issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance staff and facility personnel.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training, and address any personnel issues.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Vendor and Contract Management:
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Review and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of services.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any service issues.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure all facility operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and facility conditions.
  • Prepare and present reports on operational performance, maintenance activities, and budget status.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage facility improvement and renovation projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in facility management or maintenance, with a track record of successful operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and negotiate contracts.
  • Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP)) are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ﷼20,000.00 - ﷼25,000.00 per month
