The Role
Job Description - Lead the Network Operations Center (NOC) team, ensuring effective monitoring and management of network performance. - Oversee the resolution of network incidents and manage escalations as needed. - Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure compliance with agreed performance metrics. - Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of network issues and incidents. - Implement and maintain best practices for network monitoring and incident management.
Requirements
Personal Skills - Leadership skills to effectively manage the NOC team. - Strong communication skills for coordinating across departments and with team members. - Problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve network incidents. - Decision-making abilities to handle critical situations under pressure. Technical Skills - Proficiency with NOC tools such as Solar Winds and Nagios. - Expertise in network monitoring and troubleshooting. - Strong knowledge of SLA management and ensuring network performance targets are met. - Experience in incident management and the ITIL process. - Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira or Service Now for tracking incidents and issues.
