Key Responsibilities

• Design Development: Create and review MEP system designs for new construction and renovation projects, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, tailored to real estate applications.
• Project Coordination: Work collaboratively with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the overall project design.
• Budget and Timeline Management: Develop project schedules and budgets for MEP installations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to financial constraints.
• Site Supervision: Conduct regular site inspections to oversee MEP installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and addressing any issues that arise during construction.
• Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to contractors and subcontractors throughout the construction process, facilitating effective problem resolution.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all MEP systems meet local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability goals, including energy efficiency measures.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed documentation, including design calculations, specifications, progress reports, and final project handover documents.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Liaise with clients, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into designs.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 4 years of experience in MEP engineering within the real estate or construction industry.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, BIM) and project management tools

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
