Job Summary The Counsel oversees the cases and matters that are assigned to him. Acts as the point of contact with the existing clients in handling their matters. Assigns to Senior Associates works; reviews their work and finalize them. Provides guidance and directions to senior associates Major Duties and Responsibilities ► Providing Legal Consultation Services to Clients ► Setting Strategy for Handling of the Matter ► Assessing Volume of Work Cases Assigned ► Reviewing Drafts of Submission to Courts and Finalizing Them ► Attending Hearings with Senior Associates and Associates for High Profile and Important Cases ► Reviewing Drafts of Documents Prepared for Clients (Contracts, Agreements, Corporate Documents etc.) ► Providing Direction and Guidance to Lawyer in rendering services to clients ► Overseeing Corporate Filing and Relevant Works ► Providing Presentations on Regulatory and Legal Issues ► Attending Meetings with the Managing Partner with Potential Clients ► Assisting in setting of group strategic goals, objectives; ► Interacting with Clients and Keeping them Updated Managerial ► Providing leadership and guidance to senior associates and associates. ► Capitalizing professional contacts to further business development. ► Delegating some responsibilities to appropriate senior associates and associates. ► Conducting annual performance appraisal for senior associates and associates; recommending, rewards and promotions. ► Managing and motivating associates and trainees reporting to him.
