Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Specialist (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will ensure that the safety plan is in compliance with corporate policy and prevailing safety requirements for the project/region.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Specialist (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will ensure that the safety plan is in compliance with corporate policy and prevailing safety requirements for the project/region.
What You'll Be Doing:

Reports to the QHSE Manager and coordinates with other members of project staff.

Assist HS specialist to implement health & safety standard on site.

Prepare Site Safety report and ensures that safety inspection reports are disseminated to the QHSE Manager.

Participate in internal safety reviews and site inspections.

Check observance of the permit to work systems.

Monitor the safety performance of contractors on site.
-
Monitor compliance with occupational health standards and use of personal protection equipment.

Sees and recognizes job hazards and notifies the concerned personnel and/or manager/officer of unsafe situation, practices or conditions at the site.

Carry out or procure specialist HSE trainings and participate in the training of safety staff on safe work practices.

Take part in incident investigation - Investigates all site accidents, identifies elements of the accident and unsafe conditions and acts, and determines root cause/reason for the accident and steps to take to prevent recurrence.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or related field.

Minimum 2+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety.

Requires a working knowledge of health and safety regulations and reporting procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
-
Registered with Saudi Council of Engineers.

Saudi Nationals only
-
A certificate on safety field (NEBOSH) or internationally recognized safety profession is preferred.
