We're looking for Procurement and Contracts Head who will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and managing contractual agreements within the organization and will lead procurement efforts, negotiate contracts with vendors, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities:
Assess the club's objectives, such as enhancing member experience, improving facilities, or expanding services.
Develop procurement strategies that align with these goals, such as sourcing high-quality sports equipment, uniform suppliers, and facility maintenance services.
Lead activities such as sourcing suppliers for sports gear and negotiating group discounts for club events
Streamline purchasing processes to ensure quick and efficient procurement of needed items.
Identify opportunities in bulk purchasing of equipment or negotiating longer-term contracts with suppliers.
Negotiate favorable terms with vendors supplying sports gear, apparel, and other services crucial to club operations.
Ensure contracts support the club's financial goals and include clauses that benefit the club.
Review all terms and conditions to ensure compliance with club policies and mitigate risks such as supply chain disruptions or liability.
Track supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance of sports equipment and services.
Address discrepancies with suppliers directly to maintain service standards.
Build partnerships with vendors and regularly communicate to ensure ongoing alignment with the club’s needs.
Conduct regular assessments, focusing on quality, reliability, and value for money.
Work alongside vendors and suppliers to continuously improve service delivery and explore new opportunities for value addition.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with club policies and industry standards, as well as relevant legal requirements, to avoid any liability.
Develop strategies to mitigate risks, such as having backup suppliers and robust contract terms.
Conduct regular audits of procurement processes and contracts to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven +10 experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain management, with a minimum of 3years in a managerial role.
