The job holder shall perform the second line of defense tasks among which (but not limited to):
- Ensure all relevant regulatory requirements are documented and action plan created by the topic owner
- Monitor the implementation of regulations, review and signoff the implementation actions
- Liaise with the concerned Authorities where required in coordination with the GM
- Contribute to designing the compliance program to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct for Nextcare
- Ensure achievement of the objectives of an effective compliance program
- Escalate to GM and Shareholders instances of non-compliance
- Perform all tasks as per regulatory expectations and in line with best practice.
- Conduct compliance related testing as per compliance program.
- Prepare the compliance related assessments and reports.
- Update the compliance related registers and records.
- Follow up with the concerned departments on the regulatory requests.
- Review new regulations and cascade to concerned departments
- Escalate to GM cases of noncompliance with regulations.
- Prepare the compliance communication letters.
- Manage the compliance related trainings, awareness sessions and other arrangements.
- Ensure that all Compliance related policies are in line with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Law
- Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a Legal/compliance department.
- Subject to the Regulator’s fit & proper assessment and approval
- Comfortable working in high-pressure situations, meeting challenging deadlines on high-profile issues;
Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.
- Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) and general internet navigation and research skills
- Compliance related certification is an advantage
