Al Ula Club is looking for a visionary and results-driven Commercial Operations Director to lead our commercial initiatives and drive revenue growth. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the club's commercial operations, including partnerships, sponsorships, and merchandise sales. You will work closely with senior management to develop strategies that align with our mission of promoting sports and wellness while maximizing financial performance.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives with the aim to accelerate growth.
Ensure alignment of the commercial strategy with overall business objectives.
Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to foster and grow business partnerships.
Analyze sales performances and oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Oversee the marketing department to ensure effective brand promotion and market positioning.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.
Develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns to boost company visibility and sales.
Manage the commercial budget to maximize profitability.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
Track expenses, forecast sales, and analyze profit margins.
Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team to enhance competencies and performance.
Create a high-performance culture within the commercial team.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, opportunities, and threats.
Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team based on market findings.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven +10 years of experience in a commercial role and 3 years in leadership role, preferably within the sports industry.
Strong track record of driving revenue growth and managing commercial partnerships.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in leading and developing teams.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Passion for sports and an understanding of the sports industry landscape.
