Reviewing initial scheduled and developing as required to ascertain the sequencing and timelines for proposed construction events.
Maintaining the schedule baselines and ensure mechanisms are in place to monitor performance.
Working closely with the client, consultants and contractors.
Oversee the project controls activities of Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
Oversee project progress against established timelines and milestones, promptly addressing any delays or deviations that may arise.
Implement project controls processes, procedure and systems.
Providing strategic direction to project in controlling, planning and economic/value management.
Consultant representative at meetings with the Client, other third parties, and contractors relating to schedule matters.
Review overall project status with the Project Management team and recommend corrective action where necessary.
Use a clear, systematic approach to solving complex issues and able to communicate solutions in an effective, efficient, high level manner.
Tracking and reporting on change management events that affect the timely delivery of the project.
Coordinating and managing multiple stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to build relationships.
Establish project planning process and procedure to include within the PEP (Project Execution Plan).
To be able to prepare all the Project management Plans, PMP, PEP, SMP, etc. in full coordination with the Project Team.
Assure integration of sub-schedules from all parties (functions, subdivisions) involved in the projects.
Tracks and reports progress against the baseline schedule and continuously monitors risks and opportunities as well as proactively develops scenarios, mitigation or back-up plans required.
Report on schedule progress inclusive of contractual spend utilising reporting metrics including EV (earned value) and PV (planned value) and deviations within all functions and parties involved in the project.
Produce schedule-related KPI's as required by the project.
Supporting and challenge the project directors on proposed technical solutions taking into consideration both financial/cost, schedule and risk optimization.
Lead meetings related to the schedule and its associated process and procedure.
Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
Ensure adherence to Quality Control processes, resulting in the delivery of the highest quality work to the client.
Responsible for coordinating with other discipline managers in the team to provide direction to the consultant staff and foster a spirit of collaboration throughout the construction supervision services.
Manage, with the support of all Project Team members, the effective communication to all functions of their duties and responsibilities in the execution of the schedule.
