Your tasks
- Responsible to analyze, plan, design, coordinate, implement and ensuring the documentation of the requirements, IT solutions landscape, processes and application solution architectures in correspondence with the relevant systems integrations in line with the group enterprise architecture and strategy.
- Performs assessment of high complexity customer needs and the market place with high complexity (e.g. cross divisional impact, cross-country solutions)
- Designs and coordinates the design of new IT application services in the solution architecture and system integration area and performs changes and improvements of the existing IT Applications and processes.
- Ensures efficient and effective delivery of application services through continuous knowledge exchange and best practice implementations; guides and counsels the internal and external technical resources for project and application support
- Analyses higher complexity user requests (e.g. non-standard reports/queries, solutions that require complex system customization/process adaptations, …) and defines procedures for it.
- Challenges vendors from technical point of view (technology, experience based on OMV Group specific technical system setups, etc.) and performs technical evaluations in tender processes.
- Continually improves the effectiveness and efficiency of IT processes and IT Application services on department / service line level. Supports management for improving department and/or SL activity, find new solutions in accordance with department/SL objectives and business' requirements
- Senior Expert for global projects and services in his/her area of responsibility.
Your profile
- Master’s degree: IT
- Relevant professional experience: > 7 years
- Practical experience in the IT Application Management, IT Architecture & Integration area, supporting IT specific solutions and International exposure.
- Comprehensive understanding of value drivers of OMV, OMV Petrom R&M and G&P in particular
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and PLSQL
- Working experience in agile environments using Scrum, Dev Ops, etc.
- Good knowledge: of Azure stack and of solutions based on Azure resources; of Cloud native technologies, building microservice and API-driven architecture
- Advanced experience with Hybrid integration platforms, such as Azure AIS, etc. or Open Source Middleware products using SOAP, REST EDI, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of ITIL processes, design frameworks, and best practices.
