Join our team as an Internal Controls Specialist and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our business processes! What You’ll Do:
Test and Evaluate Controls: Plan, test, and remediate internal controls to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work with various departments to document business processes and key controls, ensuring compliance and consistency.
Identify and Mitigate Risks: Conduct risk assessments, identify control gaps, and implement improvements to strengthen our control environment.
Lead and Mentor: Review the work of junior colleagues, ensuring high standards and alignment with external auditor expectations.
Support Internal Audits: Guide internal audit teams in testing the effectiveness of controls.
Analyze Transactions: Use data analytics and process mining tools to review transactions, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations.
Drive Projects: Manage and deliver finance and controllership projects, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.
Document Findings: Record testing results and control deficiencies in our system for transparency and follow-up.
What We Need:
Experience: 4-5 years related in the Assessment and testing of the Internal Controls and/ or Internal Financial/Operational Audits
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting..
Knowledge: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a simple, understandable manner to all levels of organization, including management.
Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency.
