Detailed Description
Researching ways and methods to improve and optimize the use of workers, resources (men, material, space, energy, information) and machines:
-
identifying potential health hazards and life-threatening situations in plants and other facilities in order to establish safety procedures and standards;
-
Involve in studying operations sequence, material flow and project information to determine efficient ways of working - performing time and motion studies
Participating in regular evaluations of industrial plants and facilities’ operations:
Implementing and deploying new ways to increase the efficiency of the production of goods regarding time, effort and profitability:

Executes new work stations and tools based on the process needs or accordingly with identified improvement solutions

Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency and visual management
-
Implement efficient material flow, standard WIP, kit preparation process

Implement scheduling methods including Kanban/ batch sizing/ signals from upstream to downstream

Implement standardization across different lines and departments
Liaising with the other departments
-
Meeting with the internal customers and the management team to align on priorities and progress and to identify and suggest new improvement projects;

Report status vs plan for each initiative/project
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Basic knowledge of techniques and methods of analysis process times, technological flow, material flow, ergonomics, standards, Lean concepts
- Good team communication skills, organized person with a very well developed analytical spirit, attention to detail is very important
- Computer literacy, MS Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications, schematics and mechanical drawings
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high production levels within tight time deadline
Typical Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Typical Education
- Two or three year community college diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
