Field Service Technician work focuses on installing, configuring, calibrating, and repairing technical products and systems at customer field locations.
Ihre Aufgaben
Perform preventative service and fault finding on Kardex technical products
Carry out effective maintenance and the optimization of the technical ︁︀︂︃︃︈︃︁︃︀performance of Kardex devices
Handle all kinds of breakdowns and liaise with customers on a technical level
Offer technical support if needed at the expert helpdesk and on relocations/modifications and new equipment installations
Always create, ensure and enhance customer satisfaction and promote the interests of the company
Respond professionally and timely to service requests from our customers
Provide a high-quality level of customer service in accordance with established policy and practices
Work with minimum supervision, maintaining appropriate communication at all time
Communicate effectively with customers and all Kardex team members
Accurately and timely report on a customer visit-by-visit basis via existing tools
Deliver basic levels of customer product training using a defined and structured outline from office
Deal with all aspects of machine/unit performance and achieve a high level of first-time fix with the appropriate replacement of spare parts following company rules and procedures
Provide first line trouble shooting and removal of root cause of faults
Escalate more complex/unusual issues to the appropriate individual/team ensuring that issue is resolved as efficiently as possible and in accordance with company policy and precedent
Make contributions to the development of the team and overall service performance
Rectify faults with equipment where there are particular difficulties or recurring problems
Review problems and provide technical solutions, review procedures as required
Seek, find and dissimulate information on product performance problems/information
Act as a coaching/development resource to customers and train them in order to prevent problems
Ensure that all personal equipment is maintained and inspected as required
Work following all health & safety standards and company policies.
Ihr Profil
Vocational Technical high school degree or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Software, Electro-mechanical, etc)
Relevant experience in a similar role as ︎︎︊︁︅︄︃️︂︆︄︅︁︁︎︌︈︂︇︍︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎Service/Maintainance/Installations Technician in a production/technical field environment
English – intermediate A2/B1 (both speaking and writing)
Open to learn new things
Electrical/mechanical/electronical maintainance/installations experience
IT-skills for field diagnostics, internet research, use of current communication tools and software (e. g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to extract diagnostic data in order to ascertain root cause of reported faults
Ability to connect and communicate with customers and work in a team
Service-minded and customer-oriented when evaluating situations and doing customer interventions
Logical to fault analysis/problems and forward thinking when carrying out routine maintenance
Self-motivated, self-disciplined, self-organized and structured
Free from giddiness / able to work in heights (on an occasional basis)
Physical ability to cope with heavy lifting from time to time
Ability to work in narrow spaces from time to time
Active driving license
