We are searching for our fast growing Romanian New Business (Sales) team for a Area Sales Manager - Transilvania/ North-West ︁︀︂︃︃︇︂︁︃︁Romania Area (ideally located in Cluj-Napoca/Cluj county area), who will be responsible for generating product sales using a variety of sales techniques and support Kardex’s profitable growth strategy with finding new and binding existing customers in his/her sales area. In this role the main focus will be to be successful in achieving sales targets by selling technical products, services, installations, and configurations to assigned customer area for specific technical product and/or application of product.
You will act as a brand ambassador by modelling the Kardex Remstar Core Values in every interaction with customers & colleagues, and be the main strategic bridge between customers and Kardex. In this important role you should use influencing leadership, digital marketing and innovative customer management and customer sales skills.

Identify new customers, communicate and respond to customer requests in a professional manner
Define potential customers and industries and contact them to present Kardex’ portfolio
Analyze the requirements and objectives of the customer’s in-house logistics structure
Develop suitable customer solutions of non-complex systems and present them in a professional manner
Provide a high-quality level of customer service in accordance with established Kardex policy.
Implement the company sales strategy and target segments
Accurately and timely report and updates on a customer visit-by-visit basis via CRM
Deliver a monthly forecast report and basic customer product trainings,
Ensures customer follow-ups and the collection of overdue invoices
Support pre-sales activities (inhouse presentations, business concepts, workshops, fairs, events, roadshows etc.) and help also internal customers by acting as a link between business processes (eg handover process between sales and aftersales)
Manage, store and update costing and quotation sheets based on project requirements and company internal specific processes
Ensure close communication and team work with local back office support and sales team
Clarify the customer’s needs, advise and prepare the appropriate proposal of Kardex hardsware and software solutions
Takes responsibility for the projects costing /controlling /reporting P&L topics and ensures order and margin responsibility
Is in charge cross functional support (collaborating closely with Marketing, selling hardware and software service contracts, remote support and other Kardex portfolio items)

Your profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Economics or other related qualification
Several years of professional experience in intralogistics systems selling and/or ︎︎︊︁︅︄︃️︂︆︄︅︁︁︎︌︈︂︇︍︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎realization/implementation of solid projects with capital goods would be a plus
Expertise in the field of warehouse automation, logistics processes and systems (supply chain, automation, WMS) desired
Familiar with SAP, MS Office and CRM
Excellent negotiating, selling, communication and presentation skills
Experience in dealing with a wide variety of buying influencers at different management levels
Focus on customer values and consultative sales approach
Fluent English proficiency (B2-C1)
Results and customer oriented with a growth mindset
High willingness to travel within the country to our existing and potential customers
Proactive approach, always open to bringing in and implementing new ideas
