INDUSTRIAL CITY OPERATIONS (RLIC)
Primary purpose of job
Responsible for supervising the execution of electrical maintenance and repair work for the critical Common Seawater
Facility (CSF). This includes responsibility for directing and assisting in the activities performed by a small group of semi-skilled to skilled workers engaged in the installation, maintenance and repair of facility/equipment.
Experience & Skills
• 5-7 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry or public utilities.
Hands-on and in-depth experience of transformer, VFD, UPS, battery system and large motor installation, maintenance
and troubleshooting is required, as is experience in operation of high voltage switchgear and power system equipment.
Good supervisory, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in maintenance execution to planned schedules, and support for budgeting and estimating.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Good computer skills, including relevant knowledge of MSOffice applications and CMMS.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work.
Good written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
Education
• Electrical engineering diploma or equivalent from an internationally recognized institution.
