Job Summary: The Section Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within a specific department or section of a business. Workforce Scheduling: Organize work shifts, assign tasks, and manage staffing levels to ensure smooth workflow and adequate coverage.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational issues, employee concerns, and customer complaints within the section, escalating problems when necessary.
Compliance: Ensure that all team members follow company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards, promoting a culture of accountability and adherence.
Training and Development: Facilitate onboarding, training, and development for team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge for optimal performance.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports on section performance, production targets, and other key metrics to upper management.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels within the section, ensuring adequate stock is available and coordinating with procurement or warehouse teams as needed.
