HEALTHCARE
Primary purpose of job
Responsible for ensuring Qatar Energy infection control strategies inline with Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) requirements
are implemented to prevent avoidable healthcare associated infections (HCAIs) at all levels in Qatar Energy Healthcare Department. Provides assurance to the BH Leadership Team that systems are in place and correct policies and procedures are adhered to across the organization to ensure safe and effective healthcare. Enable the organization to continuously improve its performance in relation to HCAIs. Experience & Skills
• Minimum 10 years post graduate experience in healthcare discipline of which 5 years as corporate/ lead infection
prevention and control role. (essential)
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills (essential).
Proven leadership skills in infection prevention and control role (essential).
Excellent skills and knowledge data collection, analysis and submission (essential).
Proficient in English, written and verbal (essential) and knowledge of Arabic (desirable).
Professional interpersonal and communication skills (essential).
Analytical and critical thinking skills (essential).
Facilitation and conflict management skills (essential).
Must maintain confidentiality (essential).
Proficient in wide range of computerized software applications (desirable) and use of Microsoft Office and Excel

Education
• 4 years recognized Bachelor degree in nursing studies. (essential)
License to practice as registered nurse in Qatar. (essential)
Diploma or an additional qualification in the field of Infection Prevention and Control (essential)
