Job Summary A Mechanical BIM Modeler is responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models of mechanical systems within building projects. This role involves using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to develop accurate and comprehensive models that support the design, construction, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities
Model Creation: Create 3D models of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, using BIM software.
Model Coordination: Collaborate with other team members, such as architects, structural engineers, and electrical engineers, to ensure coordination between various disciplines and avoid conflicts.
Model Updates: Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle to reflect design changes and construction progress.
Data Extraction: Extract relevant data from BIM models for analysis, such as material quantities, system performance, and energy consumption.
Clash Detection: Identify and resolve clashes between mechanical systems and other building components using BIM software.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of BIM models, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications
