Job Description
Your contribution to something big: Strategic Buyer / Category Manager Indirect Purchasing (IT & Development Services)
- You will be responsible for the analysis of the category to be managed as well as the development, definition and implementation of the material field strategy in cooperation with the relevant internal business partners.
- You will have responsibility in your category over the commercial aspects of supplier management such as preparing and conducting tenders, price negotiations and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Global coordination in the assigned category / material fields are also part of your responsibilities.
- You will be responsible for providing strategic support towards the regional purchasing teams to ensure strategy consistency.
- Primary responsibility for IT & Development Services above a pre-defined value limit
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Education: Bachelor's / Master’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering or similar
- Personality: Passionate, flexible and performance oriented with a high level of resilience and assertiveness. Strong team player with preference to work in international teams.
- Working Practice: Self-motivated, structured and bring an entrepreneurial mindset. You have a high affinity for cross-departmental cooperation and international business.
- Experience and Knowledge: 5+ years of professional experience in indirect purchasing as well as experience in material field and supplier strategy. Proven track record in achieving objectives and stakeholder management.
- Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and English.
