Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
Within Bosch group, you will be part of an international team focused on the development of fire alarm systems. You will lead and drive the development of the global supplier strategy for electromechanics components together with the business unit. For that you will:
- Scout global market and participate in global trade fairs for electromechanics components;
- Define and share purchasing strategy with other departments;
- Ensure that the business plan, annual price negotiation and ratio project targets for the assigned suppliers are achieved;
- Manage assigned suppliers as well as for the review of purchase prices (e.g. shadow price calculations, price comparisons, market assessments);
- Support purchasing related logistics initiatives;
- Negotiate binding contracts for the responsible suppliers and change management with the suppliers (e.g. new award, design change, etc.).
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Education: degree in industrial engineering and management, electronics engineering, management or similar;
- Experience and Knowledge: several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing. Experience with negotiation with suppliers. Knowledge of electromechanics would be a plus;
- Personality: strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative international team environment;
- Work Style: Well-structured way of working and proactive and continuous learning approach;
- Languages: English - business fluent in written and spoken.
