Sky - Principal Architect – GenAI Integrations

Join SKY as a Principal Architect and you'll be part of a dynamic team that makes sure their technology delivers the best experience for the customers.

They are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture of their Generative AI (Gen AI) integrations. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, excellent architectural skills, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership:

Lead the design and development of the end-to-end architecture for Gen AI integrations.
Define architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for AI and machine learning (ML) solutions.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI solutions across various business units.
Oversee multiple AI projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Work closely with project managers, data scientists, and developers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Partner with the Fin Ops team to ensure monitoring and budgetary guardrails are in place.
Develop technical methods to optimize these costs and work closely with the procurement team in the negotiations with vendors.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for AI integration aligned with business objectives by collaborating with the AI specialist community within NBCU, Sky and Comcast to learn from the internal expertise and guarantee consistency in the strategy adopted within the group
Identify opportunities for leveraging Gen AI to drive business value and innovation.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align AI initiatives with organizational goals.

Solution Design:

Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure AI architectures.
Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of AI platforms, tools, and technologies.
Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions with existing systems and data sources.
Collaborate with the product teams to assist in the refinement of Gen AI product requirements, and to provide early, high-level advice on possible solutions

Technical Expertise:

Stay current with emerging AI trends, technologies, and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to AI and engineering teams.
Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.

Collaboration and Communication:

Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and IT teams.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Promote a collaborative and innovative culture within the AI team.

Governance and Compliance:

Implement governance frameworks to ensure data privacy, security, and ethical use of AI.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AI/ML technologies, such as Tensor Flow, Py Torch, and other relevant frameworks.
Experience with RAG framework, Vector DB and AI GW solutions commonly used in the industry.
Deep understanding of data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, and real-time processing.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of API design, microservices, and distributed systems.
