About the role:
As a GBS Sourcing Specialist, the primary focus will be on proactively identifying and engaging with top talent to build a robust pipeline for corporate functions and/or operations. Collaborating closely with corporate recruiters, the GBS Sourcer will leverage various sourcing techniques and tools to identify potential candidates who align with BC’s values and specific role requirements. Responsibilities include conducting thorough market research, utilizing online platforms and networks, and employing creative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates. The GBS Sourcer's role is pivotal in ensuring a diverse and qualified candidate pool for current and future needs. Additionally, the GBS Sourcer will manage agency contracts per region. Key competencies for success in this role include excellent research skills, knowledge of sourcing tools and platforms, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing market trends. Additional responsibilities include coordinating interviews, managing applicant tracking systems, screening resumes, organizing recruitment events, and assisting in onboarding. This role demands strong organizational skills, effective communication, attention to detail, proficiency in data management, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team and hiring managers to identify successful sourcing strategies and fill pipelines.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to understand specific role requirements and organizational needs.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, tools, and platforms to identify and attract potential candidates, i.e. Linked In Recruiter.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends and talent availability.
  • Employ creative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates.
  • Ensure a diverse and qualified candidate pool for current and future organizational needs.
  • Stay updated on changes in the talent market and adjust sourcing approaches accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing efforts with overall recruitment goals.
  • Schedule interviews and support admin-related activities.
  • Administer assessments for top-tier candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
  • Manage agency contracts storage per region.
  • Manage incoming TA inquiries via the careers page, ensuring candidates are connected to respective recruiters.

About you:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • 3+ years of demonstrated talent acquisition sourcing, encompassing recruitment practices, principles, applications, and methodologies, with proficiency in interviewing and candidate assessment techniques.
  • Recruitment experience involving a proactive sourcing model and engaging with passive operations candidates and networks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Exceptional market research and sourcing skills.
  • Experience using an ATS and Linked In.
  • Proficient in providing administrative support to recruiters throughout the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate assessments, and managing candidate communication.
  • Knowledgeable about HR and recruitment compliance standards, assisting recruiters in ensuring adherence to equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations and data protection laws.
  • Strong organizational abilities to assist recruiters in prioritizing tasks, maintaining recruitment calendars, and ensuring smooth and efficient recruitment operations.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate candidate records, documentation, and confidentiality, supporting recruiters in managing administrative tasks effectively.
