About the role

This role will work across the Procurement function and other functions/businesses to ensure that the supplier risk strategy is executed and deployed to provide visibility and ultimately reduce BD’s supplier risk. This will include: managing and facilitating operational and process improvements; data, indicator, and risk register maintenance, goals and objectives setting in alignment with key stakeholders; and tracking and regular reporting to ensure transparency and control. Reporting progress will include issuing global metrics/dashboards to show the state of progress against commitments to retire or mitigate risk and overall assurance of supply metrics.

Main responsibilities will include:

Manage the Supplier Risk Intelligence Analytics

• Operational and process improvements
  
• Data maintenance and product expansion
  
• Overall supplier risk tracking and reporting
  
• Implementation of risk intelligence dashboard, development of prioritized recommendations and facilitation of risk reviews with procurement category teams and stakeholders
  

Incident Management

• Collaborate with procurement’s Supplier Risk team, category management, Information Security Third-party risk team, and business partners teams to ensure effective disruption management and incident management practices are continually ready for use with mitigation actioning where needed.
  
• Monitor global risk, safety, and vendor disruptions, and ensure supplier data is available for quick assessment of impact
  
• Support, and sometimes lead, incident management.
  

Support of the BD Risk Model risk (quarterly and annual risk rating updates)

• Effective management of tracking and reporting to ensure information is accurate and update to date
  
• Reporting of appropriate analytics to various levels of the organization.
  
• Analytics responsibilities may include relevant risk dashboards, inclusive of near term and long term plans (SOS, retirement/mitigation plans), and a supplier risk register
  

About you

• 1-3 years experience in business analytics, ideally within a regulated manufacturing environment
  
• 1+ years of specific risk related work experience
  
• Working knowledge of Procurement, sourcing/purchasing processes, category management, and supplier management in Manufacturing and/or Services environments
  
• Strong proficiency in using standard software tools (MS Office, MS Project, MS Share Point, Power BI etc.)
  
• Business proficient language skills (written and verbal) in English
